A good conference is characterized by the continuous growth and insights you gain after it. SEO Vibes on Tour Whitepress conference held in mid-May brought us interesting topics, new perspectives, and easily applicable innovations. Since digital content was the focus of the conference, this blog post is also filled with best practice tips related to content writing.

I attended the event with Digital Tailors co-founder Csaba Szabó, who also gave a presentation on “Keyword Research from Unusual Sources.“
What should be the topic of a blog post?
The foundation of a well-written blog post lies in selecting the right topic and the message you want to convey. It may seem strange to state, but it’s true—amidst all the optimization tips and keyword research, we often forget this, and the coherent overall picture is what ends up missing. At the SEO Vibes on Tour conference, we received a lot of valuable advice on how to choose relevant and popular topics, whether for blog posts or other types of content.
Given the overwhelming volume of content generated daily, it’s crucial to focus on quality and write in a way that resonates with your target audience. This involves identifying the questions and issues that concern your audience the most.
Csabi talked about reliable and unique data sources and presented alternative resources for keyword research, such as Reddit and Quora. If you’re curious about what Google considers when analyzing a blog post, you’ll find numerous threads on similar topics in Google search results.
These can provide insights into highlighted topics and help you understand which responses Google deems exceptional. Therefore, they can offer a wide range of important keywords and examples for a content creator looking for focus. Excitingly, they can also reveal unanswered areas and additional subtopics.
Looking at ChatGPT from SEO perspective
Gábor Papp, Head of SEO at The Pitch, demonstrated in his presentation how (and how not) to use ChatGPT within your SEO strategy. ChatGPT is a tool capable of automating and optimizing numerous SEO tasks, saving time and resources, even when writing a blog post. However, if we’re not careful, content can easily go off track. When this article was being prepared, the project was already on its sixth prompt after a keyword analysis and detailed groundwork had been established. In the Pitch presentation the importance of a focus keyword (H1) was highlighted, which, in this case, is writing the blog post. For SEO professionals, the next step is to create a SEO wireframe.
A typical SEO wireframe consists of the following elements:
- Title (H1)
- Meta Description
- Introduction
- Main Sections (H2, H3)
- Conclusion
- CTA (Call to Action)
- External and Internal Links
If we have secondary keywords, they can be placed in the H2 subheadings. In this case, we’re breaking down the useful advice from the conference: ChatGPT SEO basics, prompts, blog post structure, and working with external writers.
What makes a good prompt?
Writing a good prompt is crucial for effectively using ChatGPT. The conference highlighted how to craft prompts that are clear and targeted to achieve the best possible results.
- Iterative Prompts: break down long prompts into smaller parts so that each detail is clearly defined and easily manageable.
- Small Steps: each H2 should be a new prompt; don’t overwhelm AI with too much information at once.
- Linear Progression: once the structure is set, follow it step by step, allowing the content to develop logically.
- Using Prompt Modifiers: utilize prompt modifiers to get more precise and focused responses, such as asking for “more detail” or a “shorter answer.”
- Format and Edit the Text: don’t hesitate to format and modify the text you receive to match your expectations and the structure of the article.
Let ChatGPT see the final version of the blog post so it understands what you consider an acceptable and complete article.
How to collaborate with external content creators?
Tamás Verdes , CEO & SEO Specialist at Zetra, discussed the minimum requirements for successful collaboration, especially when working with external experts and writers. The process of creating blog posts can be delegated, making effective outsourcing of writing tasks a valuable time-saver for decision-makers. To facilitate this, creating a template that can serve as a guideline for all collaborations is essential.
If the expert has access, they can easily upload the completed blog post themselves, leaving the owner to focus solely on final approval and publication.
- Writer access for uploading the blog post and images
- Writing meta descriptions and alt tags
- Choosing a keyword-rich URL
- Placing internal links
- Sending for approval
Summary
Well-written content not only captures the attention of readers but also appeals to search engines, improving the ranking of your blog post. Apply the insights gained from the SEO Vibes on Tour conference to effectively increase your organic traffic.
